Fringe & Fancy is a fantastic Fiber Artist based in Birmingham, Alabama. I love beautiful crafts of all kinds, and these gorgeous weavings are stunning pieces of handicraft. The colors range from vibrant and complementary to soft, contrasting spectrums. The textures are thoughtfully combined and invite the hand to touch and experience the soft lines, nubby bumps, flowing ridges, and fanciful fringe.

This stunning rectangular hanging is 14.5 inches wide by 21.5 inches long. Using a variety of weaving techniques to create tight lines, luxurious poofs, and beautiful braids, it features silk sari ribbon, wool roving, and cotton rope/yarn.

I love, love, love the variety of texture and color in each design. Each piece is extremely unique and I love seeing how the artist isn't afraid to try daring combinations. 

This is one of my favorites! It reminds me of the earth and sky - gorgeous turquoise waters, soft patches of land, and undulating clouds

Just FYI, anything with turquoise, teal, or blue is going to get an instant +1 from me. There's just something so wonderful about those colors, especially when combined with brilliant white.
